Please see below for the District Meet timeline, protocols, and psych sheet.
Swimmers riding the bus will leave from the pool parking lot at 10:00 AM. Swimmers should arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to board. Swimmers will be seated alphabetically and must wear a mask.
Swimmers driving with their parents should arrive at the Camp Moody Venue no later than 10:45.
Swimmers should eat breakfast before arriving and should bring snacks, water, and their own chairs.
Lunch will be provided.
The estimated return time to campus is 6:30 PM
As a reminder, there are no spectators allowed at the meet. It will be live-streamed (details will be sent out before the meet).
Please contact Coach Arredondo with any questions.
District 11-6A Championships 2021
IF your child is participating in the District Meet next Thursday, please follow the link below to indicate their method of transportation. Swimmers may either ride the school bus as they normally would to a meet or a parent may transport them. They may not drive themselves.
Students riding the bus will be seated alphabetically and are required to wear masks the entire time.
Please note that parent transport is an exception this year (due to Covid) to the standard practice of being required to ride with the team.
Students will be required to fill out their Rank One Covid Screening on the day of the meet.
Hypothetical - IF an athlete riding the bus were to test positive, it is highly probable that the students seated around them would be asked to quarantine for 14 days, which would prevent them from practicing and competing in the Regional Meet, should they qualify.
Regional Parent Meeting, Monday, 1/25, 7 PM
There will be a meeting for the parents of Regional Qualifiers on Monday, 1/25 at 7 PM. We will discuss information about travel options and hotel stay for the swimmers.
The top four swimmers from each event at the District Meet qualify for Regionals. If your swimmer qualifies, please plan on attending the meeting.
The meeting link will be sent out Monday.

2020-2021 Physical Forms
All online physical forms through Rank One (link can be found under tryout information below) need to be completed by ALL SWIMMERS.
However, the physical protocol has been changed for the upcoming year. Any student who attended an RRISD school and has a physical on file for the 2019-2020 school year does NOT need to get a new physical for the upcoming season.
New Swimmers who did not participate in athletics in RRISD last year will need to bring a copy of a current physical (5/1 or later) with them to the first day of practice.
